NAZIR ART CRAFTS IS THE NAME OF NAHZIRYAH MONASTIC COMMUNITY’S SERVICE/TRADE, FOUNDED, DURING THE EARLY 1970’S BY THE REV. NAZIRMOREH (ABRD); SPIRITUAL TEACHER, FOUNDER AND HEAD OF NAHZIRYAH MONASTIC COMMUNITY AND THE NAZIR ORDER OF THE PURPLE VEIL. THE “PURPLE PEOPLE” IS A NAME USED BY MANY DUE TO THE COLOR OF OUR PURPLE GARMENTS.
THIS SERVICE WAS CONCEIVED & CREATED IN AN EFFORT TO SELF’-SUSTAIN THE COMMUNITY AND ORDER – AND TO SERVE SEEKERS OF TRUTH, LIGHT AND LOVE, THROUGH CREATIVE, INNOVATIVE, UNIQUE ART CRAFTS.
Alongside this web presence of crafts made here at the EcoVillage, the Monastery also offers a full line of incense, oils, and meditation supplies from around the world ~ “The Purple EcoVillage“. Under the guidance and direction of the founder, director and spiritual head of Nahziryah Monastic EcoVillage – Reverend Baba Swami Nazirmoreh (ABRD), the Monastery offers items which support the environment.
